The companies whose customers we put on camera

Before You Ask Anyone

Getting the Yes

Nobody wants to risk a good customer relationship for a favor. We take you through the whole process.

You Have the Relationship

You choose the customers and ask them yourself. We help you word the request and see it through.

An Hour Is Enough

Briefing, filming, and their own review. They hear that before they decide.

We Come to Them

Their office, or your customer event. Your customers stay where they are. Efficient and simple.

The Approval Process

Every customer sees their own video first. Nothing is published without their yes, and 95% give it.

The Questions Decide It

Which questions get asked is a communications decision. Stefanie Hetjens came into production from corporate communications at Siemens, Namics, and Ogilvy, so they’re written by someone who understands your side of it.

A buyer is listening for three things: what the situation was, what changed, and how they know. Asking «How was the collaboration?» produces a compliment, which proves nothing to someone evaluating you. So the questions start from what has to be on record.

Filmed at customer events and head offices.

How We Work

01

Production Concept

The workshop: which questions your buyers need answered, which customers can credibly answer them, where each video gets used, and who signs off.

02

Production & Shoot

We schedule around your customers, build the set at their office or your event, and film. A director works with each person while the camera runs, because it’s their first time on camera.

03

Asset Package

Your customer approves their video, you sign off on the final cut, and you get the finished testimonials in both formats, with subtitles, transcripts, stills, and thumbnails.

Everyone Comes Out Well

The finished video has to work for three parties: you, your customer, and their company. If one of them comes out badly, the video doesn’t get approved.

The first time someone watches themselves back, they listen very critically. In the edit, we make sure the customer in front of the camera is happy with the result too. We set the pace so they come across relaxed and sure of themselves. That’s why 95% of the customers we film approve their own video.

FAQ

Good to Know

What If Our Customer Says No?

Some customers will decline. A short conversation usually shows who is interested before you make a formal request. We help you choose the strongest candidates and explain what the recording asks of them.

A finished example also makes later invitations easier. Customers can see the tone, length, and approval process before agreeing to take part.

How Many Customers Should We Feature?

Start with the questions and objections your buyers raise, then choose the customer who can answer each one from experience. Four to six customers is a useful first series.

Three interviews make a filming day worthwhile. The most we’ve filmed in one day is 10, when everyone was already at the same event.

How Long Does a Testimonial Series Take?

Four to six weeks is typical because customer availability usually sets the recording date. The work itself can move much faster when the customers and approvers are available:

  • Selection and invitations: This varies with your customer relationships and calendars.
  • Preparation, recording, and editing: We can complete this within one week when the project is urgent.
  • Approval: Each customer sees their video before publication. Nine out of 10 approve the first cut, and every filmed customer has approved the final version.

We manage the questions, scheduling, recording, editing, and customer approvals around your relationships.

Can You Film at Our Customer Event?

Yes. An event can be the most efficient place to record several testimonials because the customers are already there.

We reserve interview slots, choose a quiet location, and test the sound before the event. The recording plan stays clear of the main program, and each customer still receives preparation and an approval process.

What Does a Testimonial Series Cost?

Recording several customers at one location is the most efficient setup. Separate customer locations, travel, or several cuts from each interview increase the production. We help select the customers before deciding how many recording days are useful.
