Town Halls from Factory-Floor to 10,000 Employees

Syntegon wanted its entire workforce together in one live moment. So its executive committee goes on air from the factory floor, broadcast quality, in every language.

At a Glance

Syntegon runs its global town halls as broadcast-quality webcasts from its own factory floors. EVERYWOW has produced more than 8 of them over two years, each streamed live to Microsoft Teams.

What We Made

Broadcast-quality town-hall webcasts, live from the factory floor

The Challenge They Came With

Syntegon wanted to reach 10,000 employees across 30 locations at once, live. Its executive committee wanted to speak from the production halls, on the front line, where the company makes things. So we turned the factory floor into a broadcast studio.

  • The executive committee needs to connect with the workforce.
  • Streaming to Microsoft Teams Live Event.
  • A workforce across countries and languages needed live interpretation and subtitles.

Who’s on Camera

Syntegon’s executive committee, live in front of 10,000 colleagues, standing on their own factory floor.

These are senior leaders addressing the whole company with no second take. EVERYWOW briefs and coaches them beforehand, builds a calm set, and directs the day, so they focus on the message, not the cameras.

How It Ran

EVERYWOW takes the broadcast. Syntegon brings its leaders and the agenda; the set, the technology, the live direction, and the edit are ours.

What Syntegon Did

  • Brought the executive committee and set the agenda
  • Signed off on the look and the run-of-show

What EVERYWOW Did

  • Stage design and set construction on the factory floor
  • Four-camera broadcast setup and live direction
  • 11 wireless audio channels, PA, and two five-meter projection screens
  • A dedicated network built
  • Real-time interpretation and subtitles across languages
  • Integration with Microsoft Teams Live Events

Before the Event

Production Concept

We design the broadcast before anyone films.

Stage on the Factory Floor

The stage designed for the production hall: staging, lighting, and a five-meter screen.

Agenda & Cameras

The agenda mapped to a four-camera plan, so every moment of the town hall had a shot.

Network & Languages

The network and the real-time interpretation were planned in advance.

On the Day

Recording & Production

A two-day build, then one live broadcast.

Asset Delivery

We hand over the broadcast, ready to reuse.

The Deliverables

Handed over, ready to share.

  • Full recording of the town hall
  • Subtitles across languages
  • Ready to share with anyone who missed it live

The Hard Part

Syntegon’s factory floors are working production halls, not studios.

Hard surfaces and high ceilings throw echo, and some halls had no network at all. In Crailsheim there was none, so we built one that handled broadcast-quality video.

The harder job is to support the executives in any way we can: leaders who have to look sure of themselves, live, in front of their whole company. And when they change the plan: drone footage one event, the executives moved closer together on stage the next, we rebuild the shot live. We say «yes, but better», not no.

  • We tune a working hall until it sounds broadcast-clean
  • We handle changes without dropping quality

What Came Out of It

More than 8 town halls over two years, each on air on time, bringing the whole workforce together live.

The town hall is now how Syntegon’s leadership speaks to the whole company. The executive committee has a fixed channel that reaches every employee, from any site, in their own language. What started as an upgrade from Microsoft Teams calls is now part of how the company runs.

This is part of an ongoing run of global town hall livestreams and leadership summits EVERYWOW has produced for Syntegon.
