The Challenge They Came With
dormakaba wanted its workforce in live town halls, led from its Swiss headquarters. Our job was to make every speaker as present for the people on Teams as for the front row.

EVERYWOW briefs them, sets confidence monitors so they always know where they are, and runs everything off-camera, so the executives can focus on the message.

Before the Day
Production Concept
We design the broadcast before anyone films.
The Room
A stage and a five-meter screen, built into their HQ event space.
The Shots
Two cameras and the running order mapped, so every moment has a picture.
On the Day
Recording & Production
One live broadcast, run by four people.
Produced Live
A producer, a vision mixer, a camera operator, and an audio operator. People, not automation, so the cut follows the speaker and the emotions.
The Strike
The teardown is planned to the minute, with a crew ready to clear the space.
After
Asset Delivery
We hand over the broadcast, ready to reuse.

The Hard Part
dormakaba’s event space is built for the audience on-site.
A hybrid town hall also has to be built for the audience on Teams. So our setup has to serve both groups and sound right to both.
And when the town hall ends, the whole set comes down inside 20 minutes for the next event in the space.
