Future Proof
A CEO-hosted podcast on the tech future of finance
The Challenge They Came With
G+D Netcetera wanted to be known for expertise on the future of finance. So, we launched a video podcast series with Carsten Wengel, the CEO.
- Short posts could not explain where the industry is heading; that needs a format long enough to talk it through.
- The people who build the company’s technology had to be the ones on camera, on the record.
- Carsten Wengel, the CEO, had never fronted a podcast.
- Hosting is its own skill: leading an interview and sounding like himself, not giving a talk.

Target Group
Future Proof speaks to the people who decide what banks and payment companies build next.
- Heads of Digital Banking and digital channels
- Heads of Payments and cards
- Chief Digital, Information, and Technology Officers
- Heads of Innovation and product owners
- Security, fraud, and risk leaders
- Retail, private, and cantonal banks
- Payment service providers and processors
- Across DACH and the wider European market

Who’s on Camera
Carsten Wengel, the CEO, sits in the host’s chair. Across from him, a different G+D Netcetera expert each episode.
These are the company’s own senior people, the ones who build its banking and payment technology, talking through complex subjects. What lands on screen is a CEO in command and experts who sound like themselves, not a spokesperson reading lines. This builds trust.

The Hard Part
The tech future of finance is dense. Digital payments, digital identity, the kind of subject that turns easily into a lecture.
EVERYWOW’s background is in software and fintech, so the topic doesn’t need explaining to us. We sit with the expert, find the story inside the technical detail, and shape it into a conversation people follow.
- We understand the subject, not just the format
- We find the story inside the technical detail
- We ask the questions the expert didn’t expect
What Came Out of It
15 episodes published on YouTube, Spotify, and the company site, with more than 50 short clips cut from them for social.
Future Proof is now part of how G+D Netcetera communicates. Carsten Wengel, the CEO, has a standing platform for the company’s expertise, and the show runs on a rhythm the company can keep.
Long interviews also do the slow work. They put real expertise on the record, which is what search engines and AI assistants now surface and cite, and what an audience comes to trust over time. Every episode adds to a body of work that keeps showing up when someone looks for answers in the space.
