A 9-Hour Launch Event Livestream That Reached 50,000 Viewers

Caffeine had one day to launch itself to the world. EVERYWOW turned that day into a livestream.

The Challenge They Came With

Caffeine had one day to launch, and most of the people it wanted to reach were not at the venue. The livestream had to find them on the platforms they were already on and hold them across a full day.

  • The launch streamed live on YouTube and X at once, to an audience that could leave with a single click.
  • A single locked camera in front of the stage does not hold tens of thousands of people for nine hours.
  • The day ran across two floors, the main stage and a separate hackathon, and the livestream had to move between them.
  • The schedule had long gaps with nothing on stage, and the stream still had to stay live and worth watching.
  • Everything was produced live.

Who Was on Camera

On stage, Caffeine’s founder demonstrated the platform live, building apps from plain-language prompts. Off stage, a roving crew moved through the venue: interviews, reactions, and moderation, filmed among the crowd.

The interviews happened out where the launch was happening. People were pulled aside in a loud, packed venue, surrounded by the day as it unfolded. That is harder than a studio and it looks far better, so EVERYWOW’s roving crew coached each person on the spot. What you see on screen is the launch as it happened, with the people who were in it.

The Hard Part

Everything was live, and it ran for nine hours. The founder built apps on stage from prompts, on a live feed to 50,000 people, the kind of demo that cannot be edited if it wavers.

Most of the day was planned in detail, then called in real time: a full day of live television.

50,000 people watched the Caffeine launch live across YouTube and X, and the day reached far past the 1,000 people on-site.

And the day didn’t end when the stream did. EVERYWOW cut the stage talks into finished videos, so the videos stay useful long after the event.
