As the DP, Director of Photography, my job is to make sure the final image comes out exactly how we imagined it so that it transmits the right message. For me, video is not just a video. It has to be powerful. I always say I’m painting the picture, but I do it with the help of my teammates. We all work together to transmit the client’s message and create that powerful video.

When I’m with the camera, I’m passionate. It’s that simple. I don’t even know how to process it sometimes. I feel like I live in my dreams because filmmaking is my dream. I truly believe if you can dream it, you can shoot it. For me, it’s not just shooting; it’s like creating a whole new story, painting something new. That WOW feeling is what drives me.

I think I’m the luckiest person in the world. I love music, I love movies, I like theater and cinema… Being able to work in what I love, it really means a lot to me. Waking up knowing I have a project and something to look forward to… yeah, it’s what keeps me moving.

My career path was set by one big decision: I never regretted dropping out of the university to go back to film school. That was a great decision, because I don’t know if I would be happy right now if I wasn’t doing that. I studied Film and TV Production in Mallorca, and I had this professor who was… something else. He’s the one who got me my first camera. He had this Blackmagic and said, ‘Bimmy, do you want this camera?’ I said, Yeah! That was my first camera. And shortly afterward he said, ‘I’m going to shoot a short film, but I need to shoot it with this camera. So, you can come and join the crew.’ So, I was working with my own camera on his set! That short film was even pre-listed for a big international award. After that, I went my way… I worked at a TV station, did many small, small projects, some Netflix stuff, and now, here I am at EVERYWOW.

What I loved from the very first day I came here was the vibe. It’s just the energy. I have to be sincere; I was so nervous when I first came, but everyone was happy, and I felt comfortable. That is so important, to feel comfortable with people you’re working with every day. Here, I felt like I fit in. It’s the way everyone works. We are a team.

What I appreciate most is the honesty. If there’s something anyone doesn’t like, or if there’s a problem, we can solve it together. We can talk about anything without anybody misunderstanding or getting pissed off. For me, there is nothing better than that. If I feel something, I can go, ‘Hey, come, I don’t like this.’ It’s the energy, the chakra, you know, the beauty. I’m happy I’m part of the EVERYWOW team.
