DOP (Director of Photography) & Camera Operator 60-80%

Hi there! Do you enjoy envisioning great cinematography and also executing it? Are you enthusiastic about bringing the vision of our clients and director with expert advice on visual storytelling and film production to life? Do you like to realize multi-camera setups in a small team and, if necessary, do you also grab a camera yourself and execute yourself? We look forward to meeting you. Your responsibilities

  • You want to combine your crafting skills and your art to create great cinematography.
  • You will work with multiple crew members together and keep the vision of the client in mind.
  • In most projects you will operate the main camera and need to ensure framing, lighting, and set.
  • Sometimes plans change, and you still try to get the most out of the situation. Normally, you plan ahead and prepare shoots.
  • You will develop ideas together with our team and alone. You can illustrate them, communicate them, and bring them to life.

Your skills and experience

  • You have experience in creating cinematography for videos — preferable for corporate videos and social media.
  • A university degree in cinematography, film making, or similar qualification in a similar field is a plus.
  • You like to think and plan one step ahead and be proactive.
  • You like to learn new things in video, photo, and AI and also apply them.
  • When we work on set, working days are often longer than the usual working hours. You have the time flexibility for planned overtime. Weekend work is rare. Overtime is compensated or paid out.
  • You are fluent in speaking and writing English. You have some German skills.
  • You have a flair for working independently, conscientiously, efficiently and carefully.
  • You have a driver’s license B (for car).
