Christian Cuchian
Head of Post-Production at EVERYWOW

As the Head of Post-Production at EVERYWOW, my work spans multiple stages of the creative process. My main focus is guiding our post-production team and overseeing its processes, but I am also deeply involved in the craft of editing itself. Beyond that, I contribute to helping translate an initial idea into an audiovisual form before the shoot.
Expression drives me. But for me, this is tied to a specific concept from philosophy: the dialectic process. It’s the idea that when you take two opposites—like form and content—and make them work in tension, you create something greater than either one alone.

My true passion is finding this tension in the edit. It’s not a mechanical process; it’s like Michelangelo’s approach to sculpture: the figure is already inside the stone, and my job is to remove the excess to find its “soul” and rhythm. I get into flow when this works, especially under pressure. That’s when I truly feel the material—spending time hearing the pauses, the smiles, the chatter behind the “cut.” I’m watching a real moment to find its truth, and there’s no greater satisfaction than creating something that’s more than the sum of its parts.
My career has always lived at the intersection of practical craft and cinematic theory. My journey didn’t start in a university but with a “Renaissance” style apprenticeship under Mario, an editor from Rome, who taught me the craft piece by piece with zero theory. I later balanced this deep, hands-on experience by earning a formal degree in documentary cinema, giving me a comprehensive perspective that spans the full spectrum from pure craft to high-level creative strategy.
Why did I join EVERYWOW? The answer is simple: Steffi. The first time I had a meeting with her, I knew immediately. I told myself, “Hey, I want to work with her. She’s going to achieve big things.” It was an instinct, a decision made at moment zero.
Today, what started as a personal craft has evolved into an exceptional team dedicated to creating high-class content. We are a group of dedicated people who get better with every single iteration, and seeing that growth makes me incredibly happy and proud.
